He would play this monster’s game- be the bait that foolishly gets caught on the painful taste of the hook. He would bleed and hold on until the truth was revealed. Until this game of torment and deception was over and he got his prize.
The truth.
And maybe, hopefully, Young-il. A cruel dream spawned in his head thanks to the mind games from the one he desires.
—
A continuation right after the end of s2- in which Inho enjoys his plaything, Gi-hun, who is fighting off guilt and trying to keep whatever sanity he still has…Freakiness ensues.

Summary
Dark molasses eyes narrowed on Gi-hun, in thoughtful consideration before a hum vibrated from his throat.
“ How interesting. You’re watching the games to see the extent of their humanity? I like that perspective. I’ll join you on your bet. ”
“ it’s not a bet — “
Young-il waved a hand. An abrupt signal to end Gi-huns spluttered defence and continued.
“ A wager then.” Young-il exhaled. “ My boss said I’d learn the truth of humanity by observing these games as well. For the sake of the wager, then, we will take opposing positions. Which do you prefer? ”
Gi-hun took a deep breath. He should reject the proposal, shouldn’t entertain any type of wager when it was on innocent, helpless people.
But, the seductive intoxication of proving to someone like Young-il that his ideology was wrong and humanity would always win — he submitted to the pull of the wager.
He was a betting man after all.
He shouldn’t be. This was wrong. It was wrong and yet —
Gihun agreed to bet on Humanity against Young-il (Inho).
Let the best man win.

Summary
Gi-hun’s life is a mystery to him. Awakening from a coma with barely a memory intact, he’s spent the last several months trying to rebuild his life while trying to cope with the trauma lingering behind his amnesia – fortunately, he isn’t alone in any of this. On the surface, In-ho has been nothing but the perfect spouse, so dedicated and devoted to Gi-hun’s well being. He’s a bit on the strict and overprotective side, sure, but he means well.
He does.
At least, Gi-hun thinks he does.
