An unconscious young woman is beamed aboard Voyager. While searching her ship they discover items that show a life that Captain Janeway and Commander Chakotay never lived.
After listening to logs from another Voyager and talking with the woman, they find out that she's their child from a different timeline. A timeline in which after successfully beating Kashyk, he retaliates by kidnapping their seven year old daughter.
