With the divorce going through, Leia’s monthly income was severely less than it had been before...and with Han still fighting to pay any alimony or child support, she was positive that she wouldn’t be able to afford their house. So, downsizing was the only option.
In the aftermath of a sticky divorce, Leia finds herself at a crossroads. Being newly single in your 30s is hard, but especially with three children and a deadbeat ex-husband. This story we will watch as Leia navigates her new reality.
This is not one of my normal fics and is a much more personal story. Heartache and loneliness aren't the focus; rather, they are the beginning of Leia's real happily ever after.

“No...my...” Leia inhaled sharply and closed her eyes. Luke held her hand as she squeezed through the contraction. Once the pressure of her hand ebbed slightly, she looked up at him. “My water just broke.”

Boba regarded him silently for a moment before standing up, walking to the fridge and pulling out two beers. He handed one to Din before he sat down, large eyes staring at him. “When the Brothers of the Sea Clan asked me to take you in,” he started, breaking eye contact to glance down at his drink. “I assumed that there was some sort of important reason.” Boba sighed and took a sip before continuing. “I didn’t know you were in love, Din.”
Din stared down at his beer, unwilling to raise his eyes. If his Clan council got wind of this, his visits to the island would be stopped immediately, Din knew this. He had no idea how Boba would react or what he would do. “Does that change anything, Boba?”
Boba sighed again, lifting his eyes just as Din looked up. “No, brother. It doesn’t. But I’m going to need the full story.”

Fear crept up Luke’s back, causing him to shake slightly. “Are you serious? Getting sick can hurt my...my...” Swallowing back emotion, he looked helplessly at his father. Anakin was already in motion, sweeping back into the house to where Leia was presumably resting. Sinking down into the couch, Luke’s eyes met Emily’s. “What do I do? Din is sick and so is Leia...and the babies...”
“You aren’t alone, Luke. I'll see to Din while you go with Leia to the hospital. He would want you to do that, you know that, kiddo.” She smiled at him as she used her nickname for him. “It’s going to be fine. We just need to get rid of her fever and probably give her some fluids. I’m sure she’ll be just fine.”

“Dad, seriously? We are all almost 30. Why the hell are we doing this?” Luke wasn’t upset at Anakin for this, but he did feel sort of silly.
Anakin laughed, his bunny ears flopping on his head as he did it. He had a t-shirt on with an Easter bunny face and a caption that said ‘Find my eggs...or else.’ He was donning a little kid’s headband with bunny ears that were still flopping from his laughter.
“Humor me. It's Easter! And we don’t have kids around here. Yet.”

Din had been Luke’s best friend since fourth grade when his family had moved into the same school zone. He lived with his grandparents and was generally a ‘bad’ kid, according to everyone. Din liked to skirt the rules, even in elementary school. Luke had caught him spray painting the side of the school building but hadn’t told on him, so Din immediately thought he was cool. After that one incident, they were always hanging out.
Luke, on the other hand, was a good kid. He did his homework, never talked back to the teachers the way Din did, and was always polite to everyone. Din could be crass to the teachers and was always getting in trouble.
A growing up together tale of first love, first heartbreak and maturing. My take on bad boy Din/good guy Luke.

My take on soulmates in the SW universe. Luke and Din have been meeting in their dreams since they were very young. OT and the Mandalorian seasons happen - very moderate changes coming, but all will be explained.

Luke requested to join the discord server that focused on the entire series rather than one or the other, and immediately he dove into it. He met people from all over the world that were just as enthralled with the fandom as he was. Other authors, artists, and beta readers. It was wonderful to feel like he was a part of something, and he met some amazing people.
By the second week of joining the server, he met Mando – his online username – and they became fast friends. Mando had commented on his fic after every chapter, so finding him on the discord had been really fun. Mando had DMed him, and they started to chat every day. It was fun and just simple things at first: memes about the show, comments about Luke’s newest chapter or chats about other fics that they had each found.
Both of them have a love for the TV show Galaxy's Last Hope and found each other on a fan created discord server. They fall in love and navigate their long-distance relationship, trying to figure out how to be together always.
