Summary
Blackbeard has conquered the seven seas, holds the record for the most consecutive pirate raids, has endured countless stab wounds, and can bring history’s most feared pirates to their knees with so little as a look.
Edward Teach has been taught time and time again that he is unworthy of love, that he is broken, that he's only as good as his ability to satisfy a partner.
Stede Bonnet teaches him that making love is so much more than just fucking.

Summary
Stede is beside himself when he's hired to acquire and restore the infamous sword of Blackbeard, the scourge of the Caribbean and Stede's childhood obsession. He didn't expect that the sword would come with the ghost of Blackbeard attached, for Blackbeard to be so interested in him, nor for his simple offer to help Blackbeard's soul move on open the gates to a relationship right out of his deepest fantasies.

Summary
Ed sees Stede every single morning and every single night, and sometimes sneaks off with him during the break in his day. It's a fairytale. Everything else is just dust in the corners. He has it under good authority that the feeling is reciprocal. (Stede is asleep on Ed’s chest. Muttering. Smiling. A beam of sunlight flashes into his eye, blond eyelashes fluttering as he groans and moves away. He doesn’t stop fucking smiling. Crazy.)
or, ed and stede have been dating for a month, they need to be sneaky around the kingdom, and stede loves to play dress up.

Summary
In a future world where cities separate people into sky-high towers and environmental collapse has made travel impossible, inventor Stede Bonnet has been developing telepathic communication technology to bring people closer together. When he hears about an exclusive club that's using similar technology in a very different way, it just makes business sense to check it out. The fact that it's a sex club designed to read people's deepest unspoken desires and match them with aligned others, when Stede's never once felt aligned with his own wife, is incidental... until it's not.
Ed Teach built the Impossible Birds club to allow people to keep their distance while they fight their loneliness through other kinds of connection. The last thing he expected was to find a guest who matched and aligned with him, after years of hovering above it all. And the more times his anonymous guest comes back, and the more things he unlocks about himself, the more Ed can feel himself falling in a way he never planned.
But is reading each other's minds enough? This is a story about two absolutely perfect people learning to communicate in every conceivable way, in a world that's falling apart outside their dream.

Summary
Stede cracks one eye open, just a bit, because if there is a bird in his apartment, it’s probably frightened, and don’t frightened birds try to nest in your hair? Or something?
Anyway. He doesn’t want to spook it further, so he just peels one eye open. Just a bit. And—
Stede freezes, doesn’t move, doesn’t breathe.
There’s a tiny man on his coffee table.
He’s sitting beside Stede’s abandoned teacup, and he’s fussing with something in his hands—oh! It’s a ring, big enough that he could wear it as a belt! He’s struggling with it a bit, dragging it across the table, and he drops it with a clatter just as he passes the corner of the still-quietly-playing turntable.
“Fuck,” he murmurs in a shockingly human-sounding—if quiet—voice, and then his head whips around and he’s looking at Stede.

Summary
Stede Bonnet is on a mission - prove himself useful and avoid getting fired and cut off from his family wealth. All he has to do is convince a crew employed by his father’s company that their woodland construction site is not being terrorised by a supernatural entity.
What could possibly go wrong? It’s not like Stede believes in ghosts or demons or curses, so he has nothing to fear.
However, seeing is believing, just as they say. As it turns out, there's merit to the crew's panicked reports, and Stede is about to learn that fear will be the last thing on his mind when he discovers the nature of what's really lurking in the woods.
