Summary
Matthias Mikaelson was a faceless man in the Mikaelson family, no one had ever seen his face aside from family and his best friend Katherine Pierce. He enjoyed lingering in the shadows behind his family and protecting them as he’s always done, but when Klaus wants to break their curse, he doesn’t care for it. Sadly, what one wants to do, the other always follows.
However, things take a turn when Matthias ends up compelling himself into the life of the recent doppelganger and finds himself falling in love with her.
