    Except Jason. Jason has one left. He wishes it was because he was the cleverest, but in reality, he’s always been the one to make the hard calls. He does whatever what it takes to survive – and sometimes, or at least it’ll be once, he does whatever it takes so that others do.

    After a while he had taken off three of the tyres. His nerves were somehow increasing and decreasing the closer he got to finishing his task. An almost giddy sense of victory beginning to fill him.

    Just one tyre left. He could do this.

    Jason’s had a long day. First Roy leaves wet towels on the floor, then he gets himself nearly killed fighting parademons. Jason’s not mad. He’s terrified. Which, of course, means he's furious. But as it turns out, rage can be a hell of a motivator—and so can kissing someone to shut them up.

    A cantankerous person is often angry and annoyed, and a cantankerous animal or thing is difficult or irritating to deal with.
