This time, she’s writing everything down. This time, she’s making better decisions (probably). This time, she will make sure the line of Durin lives and that Frodo never gets his sweet hands on that blasted ring. And this time, she’s definitely not falling in love with Thorin Oakenshield again.

Armed with a sharp tongue, handkerchiefs, and the exasperation of a grandmother wrangling a bunch of overgrown, bearded children, Bilba is determined to do things her way. Even if that means scolding dwarves, outmaneuvering Thranduil, and figuring out just what is going on with this new, stranger version of Middle-earth.
Because if she has to do this all over again, she’s going to do it right.

Bilbo woke up with a start when the boat stopped its gentle rocking. He lifted his hand to block the golden rays of the sun that blinded him; for a moment, he thought his vision had worsened, and that he would have to go through his undying days with faulty eyes, but when he adjusted to the light, he realised that it had not worsened as he had thought, but had gone completely bad. His hand… His hand. His hand, unmarred by years and adventures.
Or, yet another fic in which Bilbo goes back in time to the beginning of the Smaug quest.

Do I really have to do a summary?... Fine!
Summary... summary... summary! Boy, there is a lot that has happened. Honestly too much.
Stuff has happened, like a lot, a lot. Boromir is in fact alive! My butt got saved by Eomer and his men. Éowyn is a sweetheart. Arwen and the wonder twins and my father were at Helm's Deep, big thanks for the assist! Oh right, Galadriel's gift really was handy. Had to deal with a bomb and everything... So much to do! So tired, far from done and now we all have to pick up our dear hobbits in Isengard.
And for some reason Legolas is being a shit, and I have to deal with that too on top of everything.
