Summary
The dust had barely settled after the chaos from Total Drama: All Stars. The contestants had returned to a state of normalcy, but Courtney can’t seem to shake the lingering feelings of dissatisfaction, regret, and frustration gnawing at her. She knows that she made a terrible mistake, which not only cost her the game but ruined her precious friendship with Gwen. She wished that she could talk to her, try to explain herself, to change the decisions which she made in the past, but deep down she was afraid that Gwen would hate her.
Gwen, on the other hand, was hurt deeply by Courtney, hurt by how the friendship she tried so hard to rekindle turned to ash in mere moments. Although she tells herself she is over Courtney, deep down, Gwen truly misses the friendship that they had.
When the two are thrown, with other contestants, into another one of Chris McLean’s reality shows and are unexpectedly forced to re-unite, neither can deny the bubbling emotions swarming their minds. What will become of the two? Will there be chance of friendship, or is it too late to redeem what they had?

Cassandra heard this determined, self-assured tone from Rapunzel way too many times before. She knew there was no use trying to make her best friend change her mind. She was way too concerned chasing her so-called destiny to listen to reason. In truth, she had been ignoring Cassandra's concerns for a long time.
That didn't mean that Cassandra was going to let Rapunzel risk her life in the name of some imagined destiny. It didn't matter if she was the only person who dared to question Princess' judgment. She refused to keep waiting in the wings, idly standing by as Rapunzel made yet another reckless decision. This time the stakes were way too high to risk it.
Cassandra didn't believe in destiny. But maybe it was finally time to take fate into her own hands for once - even if it meant taking the Moonstone herself.
