It's hard to continue loving someone who no longer wants anything to do with you, even harder to see that person prosper with someone else, to see them grow, you wish them the best even if you don't really mean it. I never thought I would be left raising the daughter of the person I loved most in this world who looks at me with those blue eyes of the girl I won't forget.
