Summary
After a mission, Sam and Bucky get a little frisky.
EXCERPT:
There was a lot Sam could say right now.
He could tell Bucky that he loved Bucky. That he might have for a while despite the rift between them, how he felt begrudging about those feelings for a huge chunk of this year and the last before it really felt like Bucky had changed.
Sam could tell Bucky that they should probably do this later in a less semi-public setting, in a way that would allow them to be slower, more methodical.
Sam could tell Bucky that it was kind of irresponsible that they left some tied-up weirdos in the other room and they should make sure no one escapes.
What came out of Sam’s mouth was, “Pulling my pants off like I’m Magic Mike.”
Bucky cackled into Sam’s thighs.
This nice, strangely pleasant reverberation from Bucky that calmed Sam, brought Sam to the point of laughing as well. Sam couldn’t help but focus on that.
Focus on the way Bucky’s hands held as much of Sam’s thighs as they could, a sense of adoration from them.
Focus on the glint in Bucky’s eyes as he gazed back up at Sam.
“Always a pleasure to strip clothes off you,” Bucky said with a wink, and that shouldn’t be sexy.Series

Sam's having a time.
EXCERPT:
Sam couldn’t move. He just couldn’t.
He didn’t know why.
Nothing was stopping Sam. There was no curse on Sam. There was no technology attached to Sam’s wrist or anything freezing him in place. There was nothing that explained it. And in Sam’s mind, he knew he should move.
Sam needed to finish the paperwork.
Sam needed to send that email.
Sam needed to work on that speech.
Sam knew there had been at least a dozen calls to his office that he hadn’t answered.
Sam sat there, though.
In his office.
Alone.
Unable to even lift his finger as he stared into the brain fog and desperately tried to finish his work, finish his work, pick up the pen, type a letter.
But it was no use.
Sam was stuck on an infinite loop.
As if Sam’s brain was running on fumes but it wouldn’t stop, it wouldn’t turn off.

Sam felt like he should be much more embarrassed by this than he felt. Sam hadn’t known what he was making until he was finished, which should feel even more embarrassing. Because. Of course it was this. What else had Sam expected?

A warm and safe place for him and whoever Sam found himself with on a – deeper level.

A surprise visit by Gideon Wilson makes Sam and Bucky think about their relationship with each other.
EXCERPT:
One second, Bucky was all over Sam.
He was nipping at Sam’s jaw.
He had one hand down in Sam’s back pocket, squeezing Sam’s ass.
He was pressing close to Sam as he was about to finally start what they had only just begun.
One second, Sam was overwhelmed with distracting, devastatingly raw emotions, needs.
The next, Bucky was all the way on the other side of the kitchen.
Just.
Leaning on the island counter like he was totally normal and that was how human beings leaned on counters.
It very much wasn’t what leaning on a counter was supposed to look like. Sam didn’t know why it wasn’t. But he knew by looking at Bucky that it really wasn’t.
Sam didn’t have time to ask Bucky what the fuck just happened and why they weren’t continuing their silent sexy times agreement right this instant.
No.
Not when Sam heard the door open.
“Sarah? Sam? Anybody?” called a voice that Sam knew well, “Oh – dang it, did I put my visit on the wrong day on the family google calendar again?"
