Hawks lands heavily on the balcony and almost trips over his own feet.
He wouldn’t even call it a landing on a good day, more like the fall and his balcony was conveniently there. But it’s a shit day.
He bears a sigh and slowly steps inside, feeling dead on his feet. His handler was not pleased with him today.
Hawks knows exactly why, and the thought is making him dizzy.

Kurogiri fixes him with flat, yellow eyes. “You seem to care an awfully large amount for someone who hates heroes, Dabi.”
He meets that flat gaze head on and pushes the burning warmth of the bonfire his heart beats in his chest to one side, and shakes his head in reply.
“There are no heroes in this building right now.”
