Summary
The last thing they could remember before the nothingness was a sudden wave of raw power. The next thing they could feel was a strange kind of reassuring warmth. Warmth? They had not felt that in centuries! Not since their sire had embraced them. Then again they had been in stranger situations than being suddenly reborn in another time and quite possibly another world as well. Well at least they are not alone, not that they had been in the first place. Their little brother was so adorable, they had always wanted a younger sibling to dote on!

A place to keep all my UraIchi 2025 works together! It's been far too long since I've been an active member of the UraIchi squad so to make up for lost time, I will be attempting 1 work per prompt! They likely won't all come out over this week, probably over the next month or so, but we'll see how I go!

Summary
“You’re not much of a talker, huh?” Orange-hair says. He shrugs, offering a helpless grin. “Neither am I usually.”
Kisuke finds that hard to believe.
“Well, none of my business. I only wanted to meet you,” Orange-hair says. “The names Ichigo.”
Kisuke doesn’t offer his name. He stubbornly keeps his mouth shut like a good Onmi operative. This could all be an elaborate set-up and he’s not taking any chances.
Snorting, Ichigo spares a single glance down at the body below him. “Well, you’d best be on your way now that you’ve achieved your goal,” he says. Even though nothing about it is an order, something in Kisuke feels compelled to follow his direction.
The haziness doesn’t fade from his mind until he’s back in Seireitei, reporting his success to Yoruichi. He doesn’t mention his run in with the non-human boy.

Summary
“If you’re going to make me feed on you, we can just do that in here,” Kisuke complains as Ichigo leads him through the halls of their home.
“Nope,” Ichigo says. “You gave that right up when you argued about eating with me for several minutes. Now you’re going to take a break.”
Kisuke struggles against Ichigo’s grip a little harder. “This is inhumane treatment!” he protests.
“You’re not a human,” Ichigo says dryly. Keeping ahold of Kisuke is more effort than he's willing to admit. It’s ridiculous how someone can be several hundred years old and still act like he’s a toddler. And it’s even more ridiculous that this is the man Ichigo fell in love with.
“That’s hardly the point here,” Kisuke protests.

“I can’t help being funny, Ichi-chan,” Kisuke argues. “It’s a natural part of who I am.” He’s speaking far too much for someone whose throat sounds like it’s been rubbed raw with sandpaper.
Rolling his eyes, Ichigo keeps his eyes trained on the wound, re-wrapping it carefully. And if it’s a touch tighter than it needs to be then Kisuke deserves it, the bastard. How dare he show up here looking halfway to death and then just wake up cracking jokes like Ichigo wasn’t scared out of his wits. Bastard.
“The only thing you 'naturally' are, is annoying,” Ichigo says.

“Ara Ichi-chan, if you’re just going to stare at me then I might start blushing,” Kisuke teases from across the room.
Shaking away those thoughts, Ichigo rolls his eyes, feigning annoyance even as his lips twitch. “I don’t think you’re capable of blushing,” he says.
Kisuke flutters open his fan, hiding the smirk he’s probably wearing as he bats his eyelashes. “What a mean thing to say.”
Ichigo snorts and doesn’t bother replying. It’s not like there really needs to be words between the two of them.
