“I made a mistake,” Jack called out before she could cut. She turned her head to face him, yet refused to take the blade off Dean. “I was trying out my powers and I wanted to try time travel, but I lost control and went too far back. I don’t have the strength to make the full jump forward, so we’ve been inching our way back to 2017.”

Summary
The Doctor wakes up in a cryogenics chamber after being dead for 1,000 years. Her wife, the late River Song, is dead. Her home is gone. Her old life is a grain of sand on a beach. Now, she is in the year 3025 when she meets security officer Yaz on a mysterious spaceship. As time goes on, lost feelings rise, the dead are mourned, and life is lived. Summary
After being dragged back from the Empty Castiel tore down the many walls of Heaven, worked until he bled every second of every day to fix the management problems, helped build homes and place family members together, and recruited ex-hunters resting in Heaven to pull misplaced souls out of Hell. He even personally dragged ghosts out from the veil placing them into their rightful places in the afterlife.
For once, Castiel was making the changes he knew were for the best. Some might call him the regional manager of Heaven, a director of sorts, an angelic social worker at times. He wouldn’t, however, because that would be putting far too simple terms onto his rather complex existence.
And he did it all to avoid talking about his feelings.

Summary
After the death of his son, there is nothing left for Dean other than his garden market. His days are tough, the nights are tougher, but at least there's a reason to get up in the morning. And with the new boom on do-it-yourself garden magic, his business is going okay.
Amidst the passing of time, there is only one thing that distracts him from functioning like a normal human being: Diagonally across the street, in the display window of that traditional Herb and Potion shop, plants are dying in masses.
Storming in to confront the owner goes differently than he imagined, though. Castiel Novak may be the kind of guy who wears old-fashioned mage robes and keeps his shop in sweltering heat, but he's also a talented herbalist, the kindest soul Dean has ever met, and utterly beautiful.
Not that Dean is ready for anything other than friendship.
(Not that Cas doesn’t get sick a bit too often.)

Summary
Castiel lives in a cabin near the forest, owns three cats and a library-worthy collection of books — he calls it his perfect escape. His existence is pretty uneventful despite his magical abilities and war-ridden past.
That is, until a man collapses in his front yard, covered in bruises and blood all over, with his soul crying out in agony.
The moment Dean awakens on his living room couch, staring up to him with eyes so green they take Castiel's breath, he wonders if two damaged souls can attempt to heal one another, piece by piece.

Or that one time Castiel saves a hunter and gets dragged into a curse, a cult and the looming threat of the Portal to Hell opening.

Summary
The only thing worse than Dean’s disastrous business trip was having fly back home afterwards. At least the airport stocked good whiskey, and by some fluke Dean got upgraded from claustro-hell to first class. The handsome, blue-eyed passenger next to him was also a perk, especially since he didn’t mind talking Dean through his flight anxiety when the plane hit turbulence. And it worked… until the plane plummeted from the sky. Positive that he’s a dead man, Dean found himself confessing his deepest secrets to Blue Eyes. Everything from his shady childhood to his closeted sexuality. But the real kicker is that they DIDN’T crash. Which meant Dean told a nameless stranger his greatest secrets.
The last thing Dean expected was to run into Blue Eyes again, but a surprise inspection from the company’s CFO, Castiel Shurley, brought the man back into his life. Turned out the guy he spilled his guts to? That’s his boss. To Dean’s amazement, Castiel is interested in him despite his troubled past, and the more time they spend together, the more Dean realizes that they aren’t so different.
Even though their plane landed, it feels like the two men are still falling.
