A new superhero named Constant, with an incredibly advanced healing factor which renders her functionally immortal, is an emerging "hero for hire" and gets hired by the Gotham Mayoral Office to help with the recent uptick in crime. As a suicidal, nonchalant hero who's only reason for being a part of the Patriots Incorporated company is to finally find a way to die, she has her work cut out for her when a returning anti-hero/Gotham vigilante won't seem to leave her alone.

Disclaimer: This fanfic has graphic depictions of suicide attempts, heavy topics such as psychological/sexual/physical abuse, and the MC has a rather indifferent view to suicide/death that changes as the series goes on. Obviously I do not advocate for people to commit suicide, this is a work of fiction and must be seen as such, and is from the perspective of an incredibly indifferent and suicidal person. Please see someone if you experience thoughts of suicide. -
