Summary
Things had been good for Conner since the court awarded him personhood two and a half years ago. He's finally graduated high school, and he's even going to college at Metropolis University once summer ends. He's determined to make the most of his break to spend time with the people he cares about and to celebrate just how far he's come.
These plans fall by the wayside when Clark begins to inexplicably seek Conner out each night and forget what he's done by morning. Conner finds himself adrift in a world in which nowhere is safe, no one can help, and nothing he does ever changes the outcome. Is there any way out that won't further victimize them both? Summary
