Summary
Phayu watched Rain walk up to the house carrying two large cardboard boxes, biting his lips to hide his smile. He chuckled as he went to the door, opening it for Rain.
“Thanks, Phi!” Rain said happily.
“Of course, baby. What’ve you got?”
Rain dodged away from Phayu. “You can’t know yet! It’s a surprise!”
Rain scurried across the living room and up the stairs, leaving Phayu amused, but confused. He looked at his brother, sitting with his coffee at the dining table. Saifah shrugged.
“I have no clue, and I don’t know if I want to know what was in those boxes.” Saifah said.

“Hey, what did you want me to get from the store for dinner again?” Saifah asked.
“Pork, garlic, red chilis. Maybe something sweet for dessert.” Phayu answered, beginning to pull forward when the light flicked to green.
“Ok, I’ll look and see what there is.”
“I’ll be home in a few-” Phayu didn’t finish his sentence.
A white sports car had turned the corner, despite the red light, and Saifah heard the screeching sound of metal against metal before the call dropped.

Summary
Phayu spots a large dog further up the road. The dog is white and impossibly fluffy. A cloud, indeed. It’s not the dog (or its impressive fur) that captures Phayu’s attention, however. It’s the boy at the other end of the leash. He’s a slim figure, and clearly struggling against the dog who has parked his backside to the ground and is steadfastly refusing to move. There seems to be a stalemate between them - the dog not moving and the boy clearly trying his best to make the dog move.
Then, the boy rolls his shoulders and walks determinedly over to the dog, gets behind it, and squats down. With an impressive show of strength, the boy hauls the dog up in his arms and half over his shoulder. Phayu does his best to keep from laughing too, but can’t help the smile. The dog is almost two thirds of the boy’s size, yet both dog and walker seem perfectly comfortable with the dog over the boy’s shoulder.

Summary
When renowned architect Phayu Chaichana comes home to find his girlfriend in bed with someone he thought was a friend, he decides to take a break from the mundane city life that Bangkok offers and moves to Chiang Mai for an year. There, in his new work place, he finds a diary stuck in drawer at work. A diary belonging to Varain Lee.
As he begins reading the journal, he begins healing, simply through the soothing words and the positivity of the person who wrote it, despite some of the worst struggles he had seen in his young life. And with that healing comes a sense of emotional attachment, something Phayu has never felt before with anyone, a sense of wonderment and belonging, and maybe even love.
He knows he may never find this person, but love and happiness have unexpected ways of coming into our lives, and sometimes, all it takes is a few words between the pages...
