Haruchiyo felt his ears ringing loudly. Rindou too, and Kakuchou, and Ran, and Koko, and, Baji, and Takemichi, and Kazutora. They all felt like they were hit in the head with a brick.
All of a sudden pictures start flashing before their eyes- no. It was a memory. Their memories. No, their future memories?
Because certainly this never happened before. They have never experienced any of this. But deep down they knew that these memories definitely belonged to them.
Yes. They remember now. Toman. Tenjiku. Draken dying. Emma and Izana's death. Baji getting stabbed. The haitani siblings bleed to death together. Takemichi getting hit by a train. Senju. Takeomi. Bonten.
Suddenly everything went dark. Again.

Kazutora was laughing in Baji's room after he reenacted the time his mother told him he was still going to be stupid even with the glasses. He was so happy when all of a sudden he had random pictures that turned into his memories flashing before his eyes.
He doesn't know what to say. He can't believe it. Kazutora had stabbed him and he was in a coma for 10 years and when he woke up everything had gone downhill with Bonten and everything. Then he died but now he's alive? He doesn't know anymore because it suddenly turned black. Again.

Kokonoi was yelling at Inui to stop teasing him for having bad eyesight when he suddenly tripped up the stairs of the Black Dragon's hideout but before he hit the floor his ears rang loud.

"Finally, I've been waiting for ages!" a man with a smiling face masked appeared in front of him. Them.
"Who the fuck are you?!" Takemichi said, a bit shaken up. After all he just got his memories back, and that he was hit by a train. "What do you want from me?! What's going on?" He shouted.
"B-baji?" Kazutora's eyes were so wide that you could only see the white parts of his eyes. "What's happening? You-"
"You're all scared! I see,'' the masked man said. "so let's answer the question one by one okay?" he started "So your friend Haruchiyo here," he pointed towards Sanzu. "Accidentally touched your other friend Rindou" he turned his direction to look at the boy with blonde hair with blue highlights streaks.
"And that was what triggered you all to be here! And having your past lives memories back" the man said the last part too fast but everyone heard it clearly enough.
"Past liv-ves?" Kokonoi had managed to let out.
"Yes you all died, on 4 July 2017. Tragically. You all died fighting Bonten. Trying to save Mikey from Kisaki."
Kisaki. This is the first time Takemichi heard that name after he-died? Yet he still felt like throwing up hearing that jackass name. Baji tightens his fist. Ran's vein popped.
They all hated that name. He ruined all their lives.
"You all were begging me to help you. Well- not me but you were begging someone to save you right?". Everyone just looked at the man. They were still overwhelmed with the memories that they had to take a few seconds to remember when.
"Luckily! I'm a very nice grim reaper and I've decided to help you" the grim reaper shouted. This time they all looked horrified.
"Gr-g-grim reaper?" Takemichi yelled. Kakuchou, who was next to him, had to cover his ears.

"Why us?" Rindou said, pointing to himself and to his older brother and Kakuchou.
"You guys followed him in the future, am I right? Simply because he reminded you too much of Izana?" the reaper said with fact. Yes, Koko remembers now. He followed Izana because he reminded him of Mikey. Then he followed Mikey because he reminded him of Izana. It was weird but over the years he truly felt attached to Mikey.
The same way he was attached to Inui. He knows that the other 3 felt the same too. He worked with them for over 10-9 years and he saw the way they cared for Mikey. For the 4 people on the other side though. He knows they have a deeper connection with Mikey.
Maybe that's it. They all know Mikey but he, Ran, Rindou, and Kakuchou only cared for him. Sanzu, Baji, Takemichi , and probably Kazutora loved him. A perfect balance.

Kakucho was stuck. Of course, he was. Izana was everything to him. Despite being 21 and given more than five years to grieve, he's still waiting. He prays, hopes; he'd give anything at all for one last order from his dead king.
So once he's given one, he's quite stumped.Or: Izana comes back as a ghost, needing closure to pass on peacefully. Problem is - he can't remember jack shit.
