Summary
Jax didn't know why he was the way he was. He just was, and that was as true as the air he breathed. Every drop of water he drank was stolen from those who deserved it more, every bite of food forcibly taken from those less fortunate. He knew it was ironic, what with his dad being the priest. Even so, he didn’t care if he was headed to Heaven or Hell. He hadn’t done anything to deserve paradise, and he knew nobody would care when he took his last breath.
Zooble had wasted all 22 years of their life. It was true they had found love, but beyond that, they hadn’t done anything with their petty existence. They worked part time at a tattoo parlor, and they barely afforded rent in a small apartment. They wished they had time to work full time, but with their therapy and their college classes, their schedule was incapable of being filled. Even then, they can’t fix themselves, and due to that, they have a plan to end it all, and they just need to jump.
Or, Jax is a spoiled Catholic nepo baby who spits on everyone and is as intolerable as in canon while Zooble is a broke student who can barely afford food with everything going on.
