Summary
Jason felt his head spin and nausea take over him. His hands were shaking and he felt like the wind had been knocked out of him. It was the same heightened fear he felt during some high risk missions, usually when one of his brothers got hurt or were in danger.
Cass nudged his side and Jason jumped slightly, startled at the movement.
*Are you okay?* She signed, her eyes looking at him expectantly.
*Yes* he signed back, hidden from Batman’s gaze.
*Lie* Cass signed back and it wasn’t a question, she could always tell when he was lying.Jason ignored it and continued to keep his eyes on Batman as he wrapped up the meeting. When the old man had finally stopped yapping Jason quickly stood and left to go to his bike. In doing so though he misjudged how dizzy he was and fell flat on his face.
“Jay?!” Dick shouted, rushing to his brother’s side, helping him up. Jason's nose was gushing blood and probably broken, he had quite literally fallen face first and his arms had been too sluggish to catch him.

Summary
His father, the person he used to trust and put his hope in, sliced through his neck two years ago with a batarang. He rescued the Joker, the bastard that had taken so much from him, had taken his son and yet he saved him leaving Jason in the rubble to die.
Jason had laid there dying, choking on his own blood and being crushed by the beams that had fallen on him. His side had been impaled by a piece of rebar and he knew there was no way to crawl out from the pit he was in.
He didn’t have to though.

Summary
Two years ago when they found Jason under a collapsed building, Jason had begged to die. He told them too much about how he really felt. They suddenly saw all of him, not just the mask, and not just the loudmouthed, cocky fighter that managed to beat death. They saw the kid that was broken and hurting. They saw the scars of his battles with foes and himself. They saw what was underneath the armor.
Jason didn’t feel seen though, he felt exposed. Everything he hated and hid was on display. He couldn’t lie anymore.
