Summary
Lune and his little cohort of thieves steal something that maybe they shouldn’t have.
“Lune had no guess for how long both Asteria and Lune just stared. Eventually, his thoughts started to catch up with him as he began processing what this meant. This was magic. Either Asteria was a secret animus, or he was right, and the bracelet was magic.
This was magic.
This was magic.
He was in possession of magic.
He kept waiting for the punchline, but it never came.
Because this is really happening.”

Summary
“Watch where you’re going next time.” He spat. Idly noticing the large spots on her wings resembling a moth. For a SilkWing, she was pretty dull.
“You’re one to talk.” She countered in an unexpected turn. “Mr. Looking at the floor .”
“Look,” he snarled. “I do not need to deal with you right now.”

Summary
This is meant to be read in a serious tone. Preferably out loud. As if it where an audio book.
" She did not live in the north, she’d never seen the northern sky before, of course. She was a tropical dragon, who lived in the tropics, on a tropical island with tropical plants and a tropical sky and tropical water. She lived in the tropics, of course, she had never left. She had known nothing but tropics. She was a tropical dragon.
She had also never gazed upon another dragon other than those whom she was created and bound to by blood. She had craved another’s company, which was seldom found. Instead, finding companionship in the creatures that were located on her current residence. But as quickly as they were acquainted, they had fled like an unkindness of ravens from the unholy screech of the howler monkey freighted by dinosaur which was actually a mossy log in the dead of night under the northern sky. "
This is an inside joke that no one will understand.

Summary
It was a bat. An all white bat with a mop of delicate curls and blood-red eyes. It stumbled, weaving as if it were drunk or didn’t know how to operate its limbs, wings held aloft to try and steady itself.
A vague sense of horror came over Vixie as she knelt and picked up the bat. It went limp between her palms, its claws sinking a tight hold on her forearms, not a wild creature at all. It blinked at her, large ears twitching, snout sniffing, strangely cute for such a demented thing.
“Astarion?” she questioned.
The bat tilted its head as if it understood her.
“Aww,” Wyll said, approaching. “And who’s this little guy?” He reached out to stroke a finger along its chin.
The bat reared its head back and sunk its fangs deep into Wyll’s finger. Wyll jerked back with a curse, blood welling from his broken skin. The bat gave a smirk, lips curling back to bare its fangs.
“Yep, that’s Astarion all right,” Gale proclaimed.
