She was sure they would accept her- they were all sentimental idiots, Lila was sure. That wasn’t her concern.
There wasn’t exactly a ‘nice’ way to say that she preferred it this way- that maybe the act of finding a way to regulate her ‘friends’ around her was what really made the relationships enjoyable, that maybe she enjoyed puppeteering people regardless if she actually needed to or not.
People like Ladybug would probably go as far to call her selfish, or cruel, or evil for thinking like that- hypocrites they were. Commanding respect out of truths and lies were hardly far separated from one another. As if the two of them were really that different in their thinking, either if neither would openly admit it.
What else was a lie but the truth twisted to better fit what someone needed to hear, after all?
