When Nile, genuine certified prodigy, was sent to a prestigious, hyper-exclusive school for the gifted and wealthy in Switzerland, she knew from the very start she had no chance of fitting in with the cool kids at all. This, quite frankly, suited her just fine; the misfits and the losers were way more interesting anyway. She made her choice and she stuck with it, public enemy number three or not.
This state of affairs did have the, perhaps serendipitous, consequence of giving her a front row seat when Yusuf ‘Joe’ Al-Kaysani, the Prince of Gold Rose himself, lost his entire goddamn mind.

Summary
Booker has no idea what's happening. One minute there's a strange woman in his kitchen in Paris, the next he's picking bits of himself off the kill-floor in South Sudan. Surely if he gets another shot at that nightmare, he'll do better this time, right?
