It was raining at Sirius and Remus' cottage. Pouring, more like it, and had been since the morning. Harry's godfathers were curled up in the living room by the fire in a sickly sweet show of domesticity that made Harry smile as he passed. The house smelled like tea, and it was warm, and the rain sounded soothing against the window panes. All of that was good and true, but there was something about the rain that made Harry...melancholy. No, it wasn't the weather itself, for he actually rather liked the rain, it was merely that the rain was something that he felt allowed him to be sad.
