October 2023, Sophomore year.
With Halloween at the end of the month and the Halloween decorations of werewolfs and witchs being actaully in season since being put up since forever the town was quite 'spooky' in the mayors words. Thus, making this month almost a perfect place and time for werewolf's and witch's and the several other supernatural creatures are able to finally turely embarce their nature!
Which would be true if the town didn't hate them, and they had to keep their non-humanity secret. Another thing to add into the list of problems this month. The teens really shouldn't have to worry about being discriminated against on top of other things. They have high school to worry about.

At the beginning of reincarnation, the queens couldn't stand to be around each other. Soon enough, though, they start to form close bonds and tentative truces. However, despite slowly growing closer, they notice one queen who still keeps her distance with walls that seem to refuse to come down.
Or alternatively: I'm bad at summaries, but a more aware Jane is sad and keeps herself closed off from the others while they try really hard to get closer to her

Sometimes, Anna felt lucky. She’d survived, even longer than the ‘Survivor’. But there was a curse that came hand in hand with every blessing, and as Anna buried her face in her hands, she began to realise just what Anne had once meant by that.
She’d been the ‘real’ survivor. But in that, she’d gotten to see all the others leave their fair Earth. That hadn’t been enough for fate, however, and it seemed she’d have to carry this awful feeling called guilt. There were so many choices in every life, but it seemed to Anna that they never made the right ones.
Although her survival had been a blessing, the guilt that came with it was no doubt a curse.
