Summary
Months after Dean had told Castiel he had to leave the bunker, the angel comes back running on fumes from another angel's grace. Dean goes into action to take care of his best friend and make up for making him leave. But what happens if Cas gets better? Will he leave again or will Dean find the words to get him to stay. Or will it be Castiel who steps up first? Who would have thought the reveal would come after a game of strip poker, a 'platonic' slow dance, and a cocky archangel.
Or Dean takes care of Cas and the angel spends the rest of his life trying to do that same for his hunter, wanting to give Dean a life and home he should have had all along.

Picking up right after 15x18, a reimagining of the god-awful ending. We the fans get the ending we deserve, and most importantly our comfort characters get the ending they have earned by getting us all through the tough times“Just this once, everyone lives”

Summary
Dean Winchester was always destined for the Olympics. Granted, his dad had hoped for a traditionally masculine sport, but as figure skating goes, Dean lifting and twirling a (female) partner across the ice is as close as it gets.
It’s also as close as Dean is gonna get to the things he privately hungers for. He gets to skate. He gets to compete on an international level. He even gets to be out as bisexual. So what if he doesn’t get to be the one soaring over the ice from a partner’s hands? It’s like a compromise. Or like having a brownie that’s made from black beans. It’s better than nothing, even if it doesn’t exactly get you all the way there.
But then rules change and all that’s missing is a certain Olympic champion with dreams of his own.

Summary
Dean is an omega, though most people wouldn't guess that. And he's got nothing of value to provide for Sam's future except the potential dowry price he could earn if he applies for a Binding Union with an alpha. Everything about the idea of a union leaves a sour pit in Dean's gut -- the application process, the matching, the binding ceremony, a lifetime as trophy omega bitch for some rich alpha brat. Can he do it? Give up who he is, bite his tongue, bow at a stranger's feet just because a quirk of his biology and the rules of society say he should? Dean's not sure if he can, he sure as hell doesn't want to, but to secure Sam's future, Dean's willing to try.
