After taking, yet another long swig from the bottle Katsuki sighs. He's probably over exaggerating the situation. He was and still is drunk, knowing him he probably misheard Izuku and he probably said “ask her about work" not “ask her out after work" . He is well overdue for a new pair of hearing aids.
Everything is going to be fine. He's going to be able to ask Izuku out another time and they'll live out his lakeside cabin with five cats and being old people together fantasy. There is absolutely nothing to worry about.
