After her heat Luz is ready to get back to the crazy antics of school. Things are a tad crazier upon her return; through teenage drama, typical yes, but on a whole new level with dynamics involved.
Boscha is acting weird, Skara seems helpful, Amity really enjoys giving Luz hugs, and the Blight parents have an old-fashioned way of thinking as do most of the more well-off families in the Ilse.
