Aziraphale is a sailor, Crowley is siren. They try to find their own side, in-between land and water.
Crowley woke up with a headache. The sun blazingly hot, only making it worse, really. Her head was resting on a rock, arms beside her head and body submerged in the water. She hated waking up. She’d heard people describing it as calm before the storm, moments of peace or comforting. But she had never experienced that. She loved sleeping, and she loved living. Just not the waking up part. It felt hopelessly vulnerable.
