Summary
EZRA DASHNER worked his whole life to avoid trouble, even if it seems to follow him. Ever since he got put in the foster system, going from foster house to foster house. It has just been him and his abilities that are unexplanatory. Surviving being alone in the world of Laws and Order, having to use his intelligence and trickery to do what it takes.
So when his life gets sidetracked by his foster sister Brianna Connors, and thrown into a world of Gods and Monsters. He has to learn how to adapt to this new world. Along with Brianna Connors and a group of demi-gods, as they must deliver a duffle bag that holds an ancient being capable of reshaping the world.
The more that they travel across America, the more the puzzle of why they are doing this quest appears. But Ezra doesn’t have time to think about the world ending or whoever The Child of Dreams is, he has an elder being of the universe to deliver.

Dear Diary,
Up until a few days ago, I was just a normal girl...until the monster attacks started and I found out that I was a demigod. Apparently, my mother's magic girdle has been taken from Olympus, and between the monsters and my half-siblings in Cabin 10, there's been a crazy goose chase to get it back. Somehow, I ended up with the quest to retrieve the girdle, but I don't know if I can do this. Can a total rookie like me somehow become a warrior? Can I successfully lead the quest and get the girdle back? Do I have strength and courage needed to be a hero?
Come on, diary. We're in for an adventure!
