En la sangre lo está todo. Es la fuente de la vida, donde se resguardan sus secretos y reside su auténtico poder. Pocos son capaces de sacar el potencial oculto en ella, más lo que lo logran, trascienden de ser simples humanos para convertirse en algo más. Lo que debería haber sucedido, no sucedió como se esperaba y gracias a eso, el poder oculto en la sangre de los grandes linajes es libre de liberarse bajo ciertas condiciones. Poniente, ni Essos o más lejos están preparados para las consecuencias de ese error que el mundo no debió permitir.

I saved a bunch of people, fell in love, saved the city, and then I saved the city again, and again and again, and again. I couldn't save my best friend, Phin Mason, or the person she became. So now I save everyone else, which means that I have to stop Roxxon every other week from cooking up whatever scheme they are, but that’s beside the point.
Look, I'm a comic book, I'm a cereal, did a Christmas album. And a... a so-so popsicle. I mean, I've looked worse. But after everything, I still love being Spider-Man. I mean, who wouldn't? So no matter how many hits I take, I always find a way to come back. Because the only thing standing between this city and oblivion is me. There's only one Spider-Man, and you're looking at him.

It was why some people could remember clearly the exact moment they found out the world had ended. Some found out in the safety of their homes while watching news stories of people being torn apart and eaten alive. Some found out in the rioting streets as chaos ran amuck. Some found out, first hand, as they watched this virus, or act of God, take a loved one away from them.Bad news tended to create lasting memories, yet Evie Smith couldn't remember a single, damn thing.
In the end, it didn't matter where you were when the world ended. Hell, it didnt even matter who you were. The dead ruled the world now and they craved living flesh regardless of who it belonged to.
The real question now, the only question that even mattered anymore, was this:Who were you going to become?

I’m not fully sure where it all went wrong.
Maybe it was when I moved to the US. Or maybe it was when I moved to Georgia after things started getting bad instead of going back home. Perhaps after the bite. No… it had to have been when my curiosity got the better of me when it came to the little group posted up at the quarry.
…
Either way, I guess I’m in for the ride now. I sure hope thoughts two stay y my side.
