Summary
Fox dies.
Except he doesn’t, because as soon as the creepy Sith ritual drains the last of the blood from his body, he wakes up…somewhere. Somewhere else, where, for once, he can’t feel the Emperor’s claws digging into his head every hour of the cycle.
Unfortunately, this somewhere else is so deep in the middle of nowhere that he gets picked up by a mandalorian—some asshole called Montross who quickly proves that he’d be more helpful dead, especially once Fox finds out that this shabuir wants to sell him off to the Kyr’tsad. In a final bid for freedom, Fox disposes of his would-be captor, commandeers his ship, and goes on the run from the man’s terrorist Kyr’tsad friends and his weird Haat Mando’ad coworkers.
…until the weird coworkers finally catch up to Fox.
Or: upon his death, Fox is thrown several decades into the past, lands in Mandalore’s backyard, gets himself adopted, and (mostly intentionally) alters the course of the galaxy.
Oh, and he isn’t the only vod to get tossed through time and space.

He feels his body, from his bruised toes to his scalp. He grounds-- the static in him flows away and he is in the present and in himself. Exhausted, alive, a fragile being, a self and yet part of the infinite.

How long can he keep them talking? Long enough for Cody and Bo-Katan to show? Long enough for the Jedi on Kalevala to muster?
Long enough to keep them from taking his daughter?
He’s not sure, but he does know he’ll die before he lets that happen.
“So you’ve realized why we’re here, Jetii?” The leader asks.
“I realized you’re more foolish than I could’ve possibly imagined,” Obi-Wan replies coldly.

Summary
Obi-Wan hadn’t planned on being chased by obsessed terrorists on the planet of his people’s most ancient foes. He hadn’t meant to stumble into Haat’Mando’ade’s territory in his desperation to escape and survive. He hadn’t meant to catch the special attention of one Jango Fett, Ven’Alor of Mandalore’s entire bloody star system.
And he certainly had never planned on finding a mate in the handsome bastard of an alpha that he was.

Jedi aren’t supposed to form attachments. For most of the galaxy, it’s supposed to mean we’re celibates.” Jango frowned confusedly at that, making the redhead smile a little. “For them, we’re not allowed to fall in love, or have families. We supposed to be stoic, peaceful monks. We’re not like the rest of the Force-nulls. We’re anomalies. We suppress our secondary genders, and everything linked to them. It’s not normal. But... in it’s original meaning, forming an attachment is about obsessive, possessive love. It is a perverse, dark version of what love is. It is not selfless, it is selfish. It is not respectful, it is insulting. It leads to the Dark side.”
“So, you are allowed, by your Order’s original tenets, to love and have packs? Aliite?” Jango asked, trying to understand the nuance.
“Elek.” He nodded. “We are. But the Senate, after the Reformation that followed the Wars, put a definitive end to it. Emotions were considered too dangerous for us. Jedi have the power to destroy planets if they aren’t in control of themselves. We are only sentients, but we possess powers some would consider unnatural. And fear of the unknown, of the different, makes us targets.”
Targets of the population, of those who thought they shouldn’t exist because of their connection to the Force.
Targets of themselves.
“Jedi who let their fear, their anger, their envy, or their ambition take over become dark selves of who they used to be. They are Fallen Jedi, Darskiders, dar’jetiise, and those people have no problem doing the most horrible things to satisfy their own interest. They serve nobody by themselves, and they suffer, Jango. They suffer so much. The Dark side offers quick solutions, immense power, but no Darksider has ever known peace. They are tortured by their own minds, and... and they rarely live long lives.”

Summary
When his General comms him, asking for his help in a vitally important infiltration mission to Zygerria, searching for the lost Togruta colonists, Cody cannot refuse.
He kits up in the awful, dark, heavy, impractical Zygerrian armor without complaint, helps Kenobi with his own straps and buckles, jams the tall, heavy, horrible helmet on his head and stands in perfect parade rest and stares out the viewscreen.
He doesn’t like this plan. It’s extremely risky, there’s so much that could go wrong - hells, for all they know the Togrutas could’ve already been sold and this whole thing is just a waste of their time. Even if everything still somehow goes perfectly according to plan, they’re supposed to give Commander Tano to the Zygerrian Queen as a gift, and Cody’s seen the outfit they’ve got her in.
[or: what if Cody went along on the mission to Zygerria, instead of Rex?]

Kenobi just smiles, that little sideways smile of his that’s supposed to be a dry don’t worry about it, everything’s fine, but that Cody’s seen through since the beginning, because in some ways he and his General have always been too alike, and Cody’s seen that smile in the mirror since he learned how to lie. And nothing is fine, nothing will be fine, so it’s a futile effort - but then again, Kenobi’s always preferred to try and set them at ease. Even when they all know the cold truth.
