Juno held up the device… it took a moment for Nureyev to process that he was offering it to him. It was his turn to be speechless.
Cautiously, he accepted it, scrolling through the little archive Juno’s friends had compiled. Most of them were of the same gritty old quality. In the shrunken thumbnails he could see, amongst random motion-blurred and thumb-obscured images, precious moments in time: painfully earnest homemade Andromeda halloween costumes, what looked to be a stop-motion video of some well-loved toys… and, bittersweetly, a birthday party.
