Coma Guy watched him with a vacant expression. "Maybe he did. But in the end, you chose to do this. Even when he needed you."
"I didn't choose anything." Coma Guy interrupted. "You don't choose to lose the last person you love because you can't look at them anymore, you—" he cut himself off with a shaky breath, head drooping a little. Grimly, he added, "I thought you'd understand. But you haven't seen anything. Or you pretend you haven’t. Like you pretend with everything else."
