Felix’s arms welcome him back into the warmth underneath the covers where the cool spring night has not been able to penetrate. Like stepping into your shoes with your feet, or feeling out the individual fingers of your gloves as you slide them on, they find each other in the dark. Their caresses are the sea, its waves soft with the rising tide; Everywhere, and all at once.

In the chair across from him Hyunjin pouted, feigning disappointment by looking away for a fleeting moment before moving back to Felix, “I was thinking a bit further north. For the holidays.”
“Like to the Gold Coast? I don't think it would be any good in winter, though we would miss all the tourists…” he thought, taking a sip of his coffee which had no turned far too cold for his liking.
“Not exactly, I was thinking a little further North. I was hoping you’d come with me to South Korea.”
When newly graduated, Australian-born Felix Lee agrees to spend the summer in South Korea with his boyfriend, He envisions a humble family home and quality time exploring a new city. But Hyunjin might have failed to give his boyfriend a few small details — One, that his childhood home looks like a palace; two, that he grew up riding in more private planes than cars; and three, that his family and their friends are practically insane.
