<You will return to your place at our side. This defiance shall be corrected.>OR

Summary
Grian’s life started when he joined Hermitcraft, when he met all his friends, when he finally felt safe. His life started when the people around him loved and cared for him, when he loved and cared for them. Grian’s life started six years ago.
But he had a life before that.
Grian knew he hadn’t just appeared one random day. He knew he must have had a family out there, somewhere.
He just… He didn’t know who they were, or what they were or where they were. Grian just didn’t remember.
And it wasn’t his fault, necessarily.
They had taken his memories, thrown them away, locked them away. Grian didn’t remember getting them taken away, but he remembered waking up and feeling wrong. Feeling empty. Feeling like a part of him was missing.
That feeling never left, not after leaving them all those years ago. Not after having friends here, in Hermitcraft and having friends off in other servers he had met through people. That feeling never left him.
But he was okay with it.
Grian was okay with it.

Summary
“I wan’ the beer.” He paused, glossed over eyes wandering around behind where Grian stood before his lips parted more. “Yeah— but— but don’t gimme any o’ that foam!”
Grian just nodded along, grabbing a wooden tankard, it looked to be an older one they had, a small crack riveting down the side. He turned to the barrel, twisting the handle, watching as the golden liquid slowly trickled into the mug-
“Oh my— Grian, you would not believe the day I've had!”
Or
Grian is on the brink of poverty. After offering to walk him home Scar realises how bad it is.

Summary
Grian has been frequenting a cozy little café where Scar is the cheerful barista. Grian spends hours there drafting his niche romance novels, while buying just enough coffee to justify his seat. Scar notices Grian’s strange typing habits - backspacing more than writing, when he does write, short sentences broken up only by the enter key, and staring at couples around him a little too much. Scar absolutely notices. And he's going to find out what Grian' deal is if it kills him.
Or
The one in which barista Scar deduces his romance-writer regular has actually never dated before, via snooping on the cafe’s open WiFi.Most people write from Grian's POV. I'm vowing to change that.
