Hinata’s foot gently taps Kageyama’s leg, his socked foot trying to wind around the back of Kageyama’s leg to pull him in closer. Wordlessly, Kageyama goes, stepping in without a second thought.
“Hi.” Hinata smiles up at him, softly.
Kageyama’s breath catches in his throat. The lighting in Hinata’s apartment is dim and warm, bathing them both in gentle yellow light. It makes Hinata look extra soft, his hair fluffy, sticking out every which way, and covering his ears.

Kageyama and Hinata get tipsy together at a bar after a game, and Kageyama just has to make sure Hinata gets home safe.
