Youngjae shook his head, his voice barely a breath when he answered, “I didn’t.”
For a moment, Dohoon froze, expression flickering with surprise. Then he burst out laughing, but it was not friendly at all. Pulling back slightly, his grin stretched wide, and up close, Youngjae saw it—white, sharp fangs.
Youngjae’s blood ran cold. Memories of old newspapers flashed through his mind: bite marks, creatures that weren’t human, deaths by beings that sucked blood.
It was unmistakable. This boy—no, these boys he had saved were—
Vampires.

Youngjae swallowed hard before answering, “my boyfriend and I don’t take any photos together.”
Jihoon’s grin faltered into confusion. When Youngjae glanced around the table, he realized everyone else shared Jihoon’s puzzled expression, some even scoffing rudely.
Jihoon, undeterred, pressed on. “Why not? If you two have been together for a year, there has to be at least one photo! Even if it’s not of you two together, there’s still at least a photo of him, right?!”
“No, there really aren’t any,” Youngjae admitted, biting back his nerves. “Not of us together…or of him.”
Or: Youngjae is a regular office worker, Dohoon is an idol, and the two are in a secret relationship.

The problem is Daeyoung has always been so stupidly cute. So stupidly kind, so stupidly him. And Yushi, well Yushi’s always been watching. Waiting. Not unlike a cat, basking in sunlight, awaiting its owner.
He realises now, he’s been looking at it the wrong way. If he were a cat, the fun wasn’t in waiting or watching. It was in anticipation, followed by sweet reward.
