Peter keeps getting himself into trouble as per usual and Tony has to learn how to care in the right way. Which, he is finding impossible.

Peter Parker was fine. Really. Lots of young adults experience financial struggles and feel lonely. It's not like he is starving, right? Right?
Or, Peter Parker is struggling after the events of No Way Home. He doesn't realize how much he needs somebody in his corner, but there may be a chance he will get that anyway. Author projecting their own experiences on Peter Parker, with Irondad sprinkles in the later chapters.
