“Please, c’mon. I think you’ll like it. It’s vulgar ,” Izuku admits, and his voice lilts up in a teasing tone at the last word. That gets Katsuki’s attention, and he looks back, and is met with the other’s lips twisting into a mischievous little grin, digging into his cheeks sweetly.
“…what is it?” Katsuki asks, and Izuku leans back, satisfied. Katsuki figures Izuku will be good at fishing, if he’s able to reel in Katsuki so easily.

Colorblindness soulbonds typically manifest as a lack of one color until soulmates meet, usually the color of your soulmate’s eyes (one-color). Sometimes, however, this is reversed, and soulmates see no colors but their bond partner’s eye color (almost total). In very rare cases, there has even been documentation of complete—Izuku doesn’t have it in him to keep reading. That… that was the first thing they ruled out. It can’t be colorblindness, especially not an almost total bond. That’s impossible. That means he’s already met his soulmate."
Izuku takes a DNA test. It does not go as expected.

Summary
So Katsuki is confident that there isn't that much that he doesn't know about Deku, and he puts the thought of maybe I don't know Deku very well anymore firmly out of his mind, out of even the realm of possibility.
This kind of minor personal bullshit isn't important to becoming the Number 1 Hero. Really, the fact that Katsuki even let himself think about it at all is ridiculous. Those are braincells and seconds he'll never get back.
He doesn't care about Deku enough to even want to know him better.
(At least, that's what he tells himself. Again and again, furiously, with his molars grinding together and his own glare piercing him through the mirror, forcing himself to believe it.)
Katsuki isn't very practiced at accepting when he was wrong about something, so of course there's an adjustment period after realizing he was wrong about Deku.
