Summary
Keith’s confession during a stupid game show—"I don’t want to be stuck here for eternity with Lance"—was the last straw.
Too bad no one told him Lance died and made sure he’d never know.
Now, with the team meddling, old wounds ripped open, and years of unsaid things finally boiling over, Keith has one chance to fix this.
(Or: The one where Keith learns that running away from Lance hurts worse than any blade, and Lance realizes some silences are louder than words.)

Summary
“You’ve done so much more for the Blade than most of them ever will, and it’s thanks to you that we’re spreading her message across the entire universe.”
Keith affirms it with such confidence that anyone would believe him, but most importantly, he needed Lance to believe him; needed him to know how valued and important he is to their joint cause.
“I’ve got you. I always do, Lance.”

Keith & Lance navigate reforming the Blades together.

Summary
“Hey!” Sokka yelps, breaking away from Aang so that he can untangle the dragon from his hair. “Your son is trying to give me a haircut,” he says to Zuko, smirking when Zuko can’t respond with his usual 'he’s your son too, Sokka'.
“Give him here,” Zuko mumbles instead, holding out his hand. Sokka passes Druk off easily, raising an eyebrow when he realises that their friends are staring at them in awe. (Except for Toph, of course, who looks supremely uninterested in the whole ordeal.)
“He likes you?” Aang asks incredulously, his eyes just about popping out of his head. “That’s so unfair! I helped the Sun Warriors give him to Zuko, and he doesn’t like me!”
“It’s just ‘cause I’m here more than you are,” Sokka says, walking towards Toph and obligingly accepting his shoulder punch. “Maybe you shouldn’t spend so much time off saving the world if you want Druk to like you better.”
---
Or, during a visit to the Fire Nation, Aang realises that Druk likes Sokka more than him. He sets out to remedy this, and maybe-possibly-accidentally uncovers a few secrets along the way (but not without Toph's help, of course).

Day 7 – reunions | shopping
There’s an orange blur in the sky, and it is that suspended moment of free fall when you know you’re about to get really hurt but there’s no avoiding it.
Sokka’s heart tries to catapult itself out of his body but gets stuck in his throat, the briefest flash of panic lights his every nerve ending, and a full-grown man slams into his front with an airbended force that finally dislodges his heart and propels it somewhere in the vicinity of the moon. The world tilts as the collision pulls the ground under his feet, and the very wind solidifies under him to push him upright.
Aang’s bright laughter and Momo’s chirping overlap as light and sound become real things again.
“Sokka! It’s so good to see you again!”
“Aang,” wheeze, “you,” pant, “need,” huff, “to stop doing that!”
