Summary
Soulmates weren’t new, they had been around for as long as people could remember. They were highly sought after and romanticised, people waiting for the day when the words that appeared on their body during puberty would be read by their one and only upon first meeting. You got the hype, you really did, you saw the appeal of meeting that person that you just instantly clicked with and would love you unconditionally. However, you knew it didn’t work like that all the time.
That's why, when you met the large skeleton monster that was supposedly yours, you were ready to have nothing to do with him. But he kept coming back.
