Kiku scrubs his hand through Herakles’s curls & revels in how the man slowly closes his eyes, relishing the feeling as a cat would. “You are incredibly easy to be with, Herakles-san.”
“Yeah?” he opens his eyes, and Kiku feels pleased that his focus is wholly on him.
Comfortable, Wang Yao had told him. He understands.

Summary

Summary
After losing the Finnish War, in September 1809, Sweden signs Finland and Åland away to the Russian Empire in the Treaty of Fredrikshamn. In October, shortly after arriving in Saint Petersburg, Tino Väinämöinen disappears, leaving his young daughter on her own in Ivan Braginsky's house, accompanied only by the disjointed unit of Baltic and Eastern European states who couldn't care less about their new housemate.
Their indifference and pre-existing complexes quickly come crashing down on them, and the longer the Finn is missing, the worse their condition becomes, as questions of what defines their very existence in such an uneasy time bring everyone to their breaking point.

Noé was 85% sure that Vanitas was not a real doctor.
He might be a doctor specializing in vampires through use of the Book of Vanitas, but Noé couldn't see any way for Vanitas to be a regular, licensed doctor.
However dubious Vanitas's legal status as a doctor was though, as he saw more and more of him, Noé had to admit that Vanitas was a good one.
