    After loss in the family makes 1yr old Wen Yuan(A-Yuan), Granny Wens responsibility. Wen Ning and Wen Qing decide that they should raise A-Yuan together but as they settle into their apartment Wen Qing receives a scholarship to complete the last two years of medical school at another school out of the city, leaving Wen Ning to take care of A-Yuan alone. To help with rent, he finds a roommate, Xue Yang, with whom he splits the bills with. Xue Yang also has a sister, A-Qing, who he’s putting through college.

    Life becomes a day-by-day routine for the 2 men. Xue Yang works 3 part-time jobs; a bakery, auto shop, and as a food delivery boy, occasionally he does camboy work for quick money. Wen Ning works at a daycare center, which means he is always juggling A-Yuan, work and home.

    One day, Wen Ning receives an invitation to an old highschool classmates wedding, Jin Zixuan and Jiang Yanli. The thought of seeing his old classmates makes him nervous, especially the brides brother Wei Ying and his husband, Lan Zhan. Everyone knew Wen Ning once had a crush on Wei Ying back in school. Not wanting to attend the wedding alone, Wen Ning asks Xue Yang to go with him and everything changes for them.
