All kinds of resources are scarce in an apocalypse, so when Ellis found a bottle of lube in an abandoned house one day while searching for supplies, he decided to hold onto it for potential future uses. As him and Nick’s relationship continued to morph into something more intimate, the old bottle of lube ended up coming in handy after all.
