Summary
You were useful once. Useful, terrifying, violent. You were once the harvester of an illicit organ trafficking ring haunting the streets of L.A before someone snitched, destroying your portion of the operation in a bust. You were given two choices; serve your life sentence in prison or take your chance at rehabilitation for SDN. Wanting to keep your own organs in tact, you chose the latter.
And not only are your days and nights spent in reformation amongst former villains not unlike yourself, not only is your every call left in the hands of a stranger, but your cravings grow stronger. The hunger, the thirst, the unbridled lust for another's viscera deep in the crevices of your teeth, it only swells like a bruise. The blood bags are barely keeping you together anymore. It's extremely unheroic- you've vowed to stray from your past cannibalistic ways- but your body craves the warmth of another's insides.
Why were your urges so much stronger at the sight of a glass of water?

Summary
It burns. Fucking hell, it burns.
You find yourself standing at a stranger's doorstep, shadowed by the night sky and filled with dread from the impending sunrise. Finding use of you, he allows you in, and you take refuge in the safety of his storage closet. Warm, snug, and isolated, you're finally able to breathe.
At least until another presence comes inside to breathe alongside you. But maybe you're able to find comfort in said presence.

Summary
It's been a year since you've been realized by the homeowner you called a lover. With your existence no longer bound to a household object, you've gone out into the real world and made a life you were proud to call your own. A career, friends, a true purpose, you had everything a human could have.
Except for the company of a certain junk drawer you once spent countless nights within.
When he finally reaches out to invite you over, very little time passes between the letter and the beat of silence with you standing at his front door with a bottle of wine in your hands. You've greeted him at his entrance before. You've stood at either side of the knob before.
Why does it feel so different now?

Summary
It had been far too long since you participated in a role-playing game, your days of tabletop campaigns only lasting in memories of your college years. You get the opportunity to rekindle your passion when you're invited to a Grottos and Gargoyles session by an old acquaintance, your D20 die.
Filled with excitement of finally playing with you again, Chance shows his appreciation for your presence in a way he wouldn't show appreciation for anyone else.
