This story features an OC named Meryll Frey. When I was looking over the family tree of House Frey, I noticed that it was mentioned that Merrett Frey fathered four daughters before having a son, but only three of the daughters were named. Two of the named daughters were familiar to me -- Fat Walda and Gatehouse Ami. And the son is also somewhat prominent in the book -- Little Walder, Ramsay's squire. So to me, this was a very interesting family, and I started to wonder about that fourth daughter ... and that's where Meryll came from!Enjoy!

Summary
As a newly-widowed daughter of an influential Northern Lord, you cross paths with Roose Bolton during a Frey wedding. Soon you start longing for the cold and cunning Lord – a mutual infatuation that should not be. But as the war continues and your houses get caught up in political intrigues, betrayals and the fight over the North, you find yourself willingly crawling into his ever-tightening net.
I based this story on events and descriptions from the books and the shows but the plot will deviate as it goes on. I wrote it as a reader insert, but as with most multi-chapter reader inserts, the character is more of an Original Character (OC). Please note that this is a story that will delve into darker themes as it goes on.
I am currently re-writing this story so I decided to take out the chapters that are yet unedited! Progress: chapter 2/12

Summary
Marra had no choice but to run from her arranged marriage to the cruelest man she had ever known. The Gods must have took pity on her as she happened to run into a small girl named Arya and possibly the largest man she had ever seen, Sandor Clegane ‘The Hound’. The pair let her join their journey across Westeros, even though she didn’t know where they were going.
Marra never expected a fondness to develop for the gruff, older and scarred man. She also never expected to like being punished by him.
*This story largely follows the events that Sandor Clegane goes through in Game of Thrones, beginning in season three when he is wandering with Arya.*
