“You know you want to!” Zach drops the voice, pulls back from the camera. Some part of him is still putting on the dramatics, but he knows it doesn’t do much to hide how genuinely he means it. All of it. Because surely he does want to, wants it like Zach does, sick of the timezones and the back and forth and the goddamn absence. Ditch the jokes; Zach would, in fact, like to turn over in bed and be able to see somebody. Is that so fucking crazy?

Summary
The BAU is on a case in the middle of nowhere when the SUV Aaron and Emily are in breaks down. While trying to fix it or get a tow, a man in a turquoise Chevy truck appears and gets them to safety when a tornado forms and starts heading for them. While they wait for the storm to pass, Aaron discovers that the man is Spencer Reid, someone Jason Gideon had tried to recruit to the BAU. Aaron and Spencer keep in touch through emails and phone calls and occasionally meeting up when feelings start to grow. Neither mentions it to the other, thinking that it's only them, but a life threatening situation puts things into perspective.
