Summary
“You're not winning this,” Aether gasps out as they deflect one another once more, each struggling to gain ground on the other, blades locked.
“You're wrong,” Ajax hisses. To Aether’s horror, his spear separates as Ajax takes one end, leaving him with two weapons. Aether tries to step back, but Ajax kicks out his left knee, forcing him to maintain the parry.
Ajax drives the weapon forwards towards his gut, Aether narrowly managing to harness Anemo to block the blow, holding the pointed end of the blade inches away from his chest. Aether pants, chest heaving, heart pounding in his rib cage.
“Not bad, Aether. Your swordsmanship was quite impressive. But, that's about as far as you'll get.” With a final thrust of Ajax’s sword Aether thought it was over for him. The end. He had failed.
Aether squeezes his eyes shut. 'Forgive me Lumine…'

Ajax never managed to escape the Abyss without the guidance of a now dead Skirk, and now, Ajax is the only one who knows where Aether’s sister is

Aren't you tired of Aether being nice? Don't you just want to see him go ape shit?
