    Des: Can I just say, I love how much of a wanking, man-junk-ogling fiend we made Charlie! 🤭

    Turts: Umm... We didn't make Charlie anything. He was always a man-junk-ogling obsessive wanker. He's just cute and adorable so everyone ignores that fact.

    Des: This is true! I always just assume all teenage boys are wanking constantly!

    Turts: It's not an assumption, they are.

    Des: I am envisioning a series... The Wanking Chronicles. For the three of us.

    Oatsie: I'm so jazzed by this. JIZZED! Dammit, I should have said jizzed.

    Des: A collection of wanking one-shots whenever we feel inspired.

    Turts: Charlie is a wank machine, we will make this canon.

    Maybe he could have gotten away with it if he had just sent the song, but of course, he had to tell Nick that the song reminded him of Nick. Brilliant. Charlie might as well have stood in front of Nick’s door with a poster that said, “Hey! I’m in love with you!”. Actually, that might have been less obvious than the ballad he just sent.

    And not only is the idea of Nick knowing about his feelings absolutely mortifying, but he responded to the message. His response didn’t even leave room for Charlie to pretend that Nick didn’t understand the meaning behind the lyrics because why else would he reply with just “Oh” to it, then?

    AKA The one where Charlie accidentally confesses his feelings for Nick by sending him a love song.

    Charlie was about to leave when someone else came from the back, this time a tall guy, who looked like he walked straight out of Charlie’s favorite type of dreams. He was broad-shouldered, with arms that would rip a branch in half, with thighs that could squash a watermelon if put to the test. He had dark blonde hair and a scruff auburn beard that made Charlie think of places he’d like to experience beard burn at. He was, arguably, the most handsome man Charlie had ever laid eyes on.

    Which probably meant he was straight, or an arsehole, or married, maybe to Darcy even.

    The two of them started talking, not loud enough for Charlie to overhear, but after a second Darcy looked at him, followed by the guy. Charlie had to quickly look down but he was pretty sure he was just caught staring at the pair of them.

    He had such shit luck sometimes.
