Summary
Long before the earth existed and was inhabited by human beings, there were the stars. The stars were the first to interact with one another and create societies much like the ones humans have today.
A particular group of stars formed an organization known as the WSYA, which stands for "We Save You All." As the name suggests, the members of the organization come to the aid of stars in need. It is led by a star named Taylor Scorpius, with the help of his closest advisors Arabella Andromeda and Sherlocke Altair.
They usually receive normal requests, most of which are still dangerous, but nothing overly terrifying. After all, no one has ever died on a mission. That might just change if they don't find a way to deal with the biggest threat in existence, though...

Summary
Fukuzawa Yukichi and Mori Ougai are both heirs to powerful families with wildly different paths bound by family expectations. Fukuzawa pursues what happiness he can by studying philosophy and working at Waseda University. Mori, the only son, is the unwilling heir to his father's company. When degree requirements cause their paths to converge, through intelligent conversation and shared interests in theory, they each find someone to be human with. Eventual romance ensues.
Set in the same AU as A Drop of Black Coffee in the Pot, but starts way, way before that.
